The grant support facilitated room for ZCRBA to create and manage strong linkages and amplifying community voices in order to improve local democracy and contribute to the Government’s vision of decentralization. The support rendered to these community governance structures is expected to yield positive results by ensuring minimum social standards, promote direct conservation democracy, and devolve power to local communities thereby rollback on overdependence on third parties like NGOs hence making natural resource management sustainable.
